Rebekah Gray Mayfield, Apprentice

Rebekah Mayfield began training with Ihde Rather Be Dancing and then in high school she continued her training with the University of Akron Dance Institute. While at the Dance Institute, Rebekah performed as the lead soloist in the 2015 performance of The Snow Maiden.  During her four years with the Institute, Rebekah trained under Christina Foisie, Kara Stewart, Kay Eichman, and Frank Kosik. Along with her training at the Dance Institute, Rebekah attended the dance program at Firestone High School under the direction of Kelly Berick. Upon high school graduation, Rebekah stayed in her home town to pursue a BA in Dance with a minor in Business from the University of Akron. Rebekah has also had the privilege of performing works by choreographers such as Robert Wesner, Stephanie Martinez, Penny Saunders, Hernando Cortez, Joseph Morrissey, and David Shimotakahara. Rebekah has performed with Neos Dance Theatre throughout her tenure at The University of Akron.

Alexandria (Ali) Lebay, Trainee

Alexandria (Ali) Lebay began dancing at a young age with Jete Dance Center, and then Christine Jones Meneer School of Dance.  She became a company member with Ballet Theatre of Ohio in 2009 and was promoted to the professional division in 2011.  She has performed with the company in numerous ballets such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, The Wizard of Oz, and Sleeping Beauty.  She graduated from Western Reserve Academy in 2013, and has since returned numerous times to set works on the high school dance students there.  She has recently returned from a semester abroad in London where she had the opportunity to dance extensively with studios throughout Europe, as well as perform with CoDa Dance Company and Third Row Dance Company in London. Ali is currently a senior at The University of Akron studying English Language Arts Education and Dance.

Brandon Leffler

Most recently seen in the Broadway company of Wicked. Brandon has also served as a Dance Instructor and Choreographer at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

Broadway and Off Broadway credits include: On The Town (Tom, Gabey u/s), Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (Dance Captain), Wicked (Lover), Trip of Love (George), Fanny, The Golden Apple and Anyone Can Whistle. Brandon has also traveled the USA with the national tours of Wicked (Lover), A Chorus Line (Larry, Paul u/s, Mark u/s, Mike u/s) and Cats (Tumblebrutus, Mistoffelees u/s)

T.V. credits include: 30 Rock, Saturday Night Live, Gossip Girl, the Tony Awards, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Alec Lytton

Alec Lytton is a special Lecturer in the University of Akron’s School of Dance, Theatre, and Arts Administration where he teaches ballet and modern dance. He also teaches at the University’s Dance Institute and at 8 Count Dance in Green.  From 2006 to 2013 he taught and performed in the San Francisco Bay area, with important roles as a company member of Liss Fain Dance, where he was a member of its international touring company. He was a principal guest artist for Menlowe Ballet, Peninsula Ballet, and he performed in Oakland Ballet’s Nutcracker. He was an instructor at Shawl-Anderson Dance Center, Alameda Ballet Academy, and the Academy of American Ballet in the Bay area. For four seasons he was a principal dancer for Company C Contemporary Ballet, and danced works of Twyla Tharp, David Parsons, Paul Taylor, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Patrick Corbin, and Charles Anderson. From 2003-2006, he was a soloist with the world renowned Metropolitan Opera Ballet Company at Lincoln Center in New York. He received the BFA in Dance from the Boston Conservatory, and did his early training at the High School of the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas.

Kasha Kora Hilton

Kasha Kora Hilton received her early training at The School of Ohio Dance Theatre in Oberlin, Ohio. As a student, she performed and danced professionally with Ohio Dance Theatre and joined as a full time company member after graduating high school in 2011. While gaining professional experience with ODT, she attended community college. After spending summers at American Ballet Theatre and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and upon receiving her Associates of Arts degree, she left ODT and moved to Chicago to train with Claire Bataille under the Lou Conte Dance Studio Scholarship program at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, where she spent two years training at a professional level in 2014-2016.

While in Chicago, she has performed and professionally danced with Ruth Page Civic Ballet in their Nutcracker corps de ballet and Marzipan, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre, Thodos Dance Chicago as a New Dances summer project cast member, and previously with Neos Dance Theatre as a guest artist. She has spent time with Mandala Dance Company in Rome, Italy with the Ruth Page School.

Kasha is currently splitting her time between four different Chicago studios and is involved with several smaller project based companies the city.
